Funathlon tritina

Saturday, grab a paddle;
carve the river water like a sharp ski.
Down Arkansas rapids, we ride.

Sunday, a short car ride
leads to snowfields, wide as a paddle,
softening in the sun to ski.

Monday, after that delicious ski,
time to ride
bicycles; each pedaling foot, a flagging paddle.

Three days in Colorado outside: paddle, ski, ride

  1. What a way to spend a weekend. I rode up and a highway in my car. Does that count?
    Loved "carve the river....

  5. Sounds like a great adventure, Brian, and you brought a tristina along for the ride. Time for me to collect offerings for my spring gallery, #Springsations. You could make a screenshot of this photo and poem from title down as long as you have your name at the bottom.
