Very superstitious - 3.8 #sol18 Story Challenge

To all those in the East who slept in your inside-out pajamas with spoons tucked under your pillows, or flushed ice cubes down your toilets, or performed elaborate snow dances, I hope you are snuggled in, safe and sound, and I thank you.

Your powerful mojo has sent unexpected ripples west: In these parts, though today's forecast calls for sun and temperatures in the 60s, school's closed.

  3. Haha! Clearly these snow dances and ripples missed the midwest. We're sitting here in Stl with a total of ZERO snow or any other surprise no-school days. I am not losing hope yet but the chances seem to be dismal. I hope you enjoyed your day off!

  4. Oh my! A "snow day" at 60 degrees and sunny!? Hope the school repairs get done but that you enjoy the unexpected gift of a day off. No snow day here- a delayed opening- but at least we saved one of our winter break days.
